Reports suggest that long-time friends Zaheer Khan and Isha Sharvani will tie the knot in March this year. Whereas Isha Sharvani is a Bollywood star, who despite having a dream launch by Subhash Ghai could not make it big in Bollywood, Zaheer is a well-known Indian cricketer.
A close friend of the couple said, “Zaheer Khan and Isha Sharvani have decided to tie the knot at the end of March this year. This wedding is just two-and-a-half months away.”
The love story of Isha Sharvani and Zaheer Khan has not been anything short of a story of a hit Bollywood film. The two broke-up many times during their five year relationship but eventually got together and are now taking their relation to the next level. A friend of the couple says, “All their friction is a thing of the past. Every couple has their share of ups and downs and this one is no exception. Anyway, its wedding bells for them in March.”
Though Zaheer Khan’s family is very fond of Isha Sharvani and has been insisting that their son should settle down in life, they have now got pro-active and even had formal discussion with the parents of Isha Sharvani to plan the details of this wedding. Now the parents of the would-be groom and would-be bride have zeroed upon some dates and they feel that March is a good time for this special day and the marriage should take place right after Zaheer Khan’s return from the present Australian tour, where he is performing national duties for the country’s cricket team. But, in case of a difficulty, they are also said to be keeping a back-up date in October.
The details about this grand wedding, where celebrities from both the world of Bollywood and the world of cricket are going to be in the list of guests, will only be known once Zaheer Khan is back in India.
Mumbai, Jan 16: While Indian batsmen are struggling on Australian soil and breaking their heads over countering Australian pace attack, Zaheer Khan has other things to think about. The Indian pacer wants to put an end to the rumours of his wedding with girlfriend Isha Sharvani.
If Mumbai Mirror, a daily tabloid is to be believed, the duo will get married in March 2012 at a grand function which will be attended by stars from cricketing and bollywood worlds along with the couple's families and friends.
Zaheer Khan's affair with Isha has been in the news since 2005, when they met at a private function. Though initially it was just 'friendship', later Zaheer Khan reportedly proposed to Isha.
In Mid 2007, rumour floated again saying both Zaheer and Isha broke up and had decided to stay away from each other.
But 2010 was reportedly a reunion time for both, when they became thick friends again.
Now with the permission of both families, Zaheer and Isha are set to convert their friendship into marriage.
When Zaheer Khan comes back from his ongoing Australian trip, dates will be announced. If March is not a suitable time, then their wedding is expected to be postponed to October 2012 due to hectic cricket schedule, sources close to Zaheer Khan told daijiworld.
