Jodhpur: The Bhanwari Devi case has taken a dramatic turn when a local private news channel P7 released a CD in which former Water Resource Minister Mahipal Maderna and ANM Bhanwari Devi were seen in a compromising situation. The channel says that the CD is original. The CD has been released and is making news all over the state. It is to be noted that the CBI recently said that they haven’t got any CD and the projection of CD in the television has probably proved the inefficiency of the CBI. However, the claims made by the private channel indicates the incompetence of administration and CBI in recovering the missing facts related to the Bhanwari Devi missing case.

Maderna accepted his relations with Bhanwari!

In the CBI investigation Mahipal Maderna admitted of having an alleged relation with the missing ANM Bhanwari Devi. According to the sources Maderna finally accepted that he was in a relationship with Bhanwari. Sources say that Maderna in his statement to CBI accepted his fault but said that he has has nothing to do with Bhanwari’s kidnapping. Sources said that CBI has got some major information in he Bhanwari Devi case while probing Maderna on Thursday. The investigation lasted for 7 hours. It is said that Maderna might be probed tomorrow also.

Maderna investigated by CBI for the first time

It is to be noted that the Central Bureau of Investigation today questioned former Water Resource Minister Mahipal Maderna for the first time from past 70 days. Maderna is alleged for being behind the kidnapping of Bhanwari as the FIR lodged by her husband Amarchand. CBI questioned Maderna at their office situated at the “Lal Sagar Lake” in Jodhpur. After Maderena reached CBI office the Delhi team started enquiring about the issue.

Earlier the Maderena was dismissed by the Ashok Gehlot after his name got sorung into the Bhanwari Devi case. Tomorrow CBI has to file status reports to the Jodhpur High Court.

Yesterday CBI court on Wednesday declared Sai Ram Bishnoi, an accused in the Bhanwari Devi missing case, as an absconder and issued a standing arrest warrant against him. On October 22, the CBI court had issued an arrest warrant against Bishnoi which could not be served on him. The CBI had moved an application in the court on November five to declare him an absconder and issue a standing arrest warrant against him. “Now a notification will be published in newspapers to this effect and if he does not surrender within 30 days, the CBI will initiate action to seize his assets,” CBI counsel SS Yadav said. Bishnoi is said to be close to sacked Rajasthan minister Mahipal Maderna, also an accused in the case.
