Lara Dutta has just delivered a baby girl. Overjoyed Mahesh Bhupathi tweeted, "ITS A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @DuttaLara. I Love u....” Lara was last seen at Parmeshwar Godrej’s party. After the party, she tweeted, @Oprah and @iamsrk, two people I absolutely adore! Thankyou for making my day! Now can go into labour happily! :-).
Mahesh Bhupathi always desires for a baby girl, Lara during her pregnancy period tweeted, “Mahesh is very excited and would like to have a daughter. However, as a mother, when you are going through the experience of carrying a baby for nine months, the first-and-foremost priority is to have a healthy baby”.
For the last few days, Lara was busy preparing her house for the newcomer, "It's fun having my parents here and getting the house baby ready! Anticipation and excitement in the air!:-) feels good 2 start 2012 like that," Lara wrote on her Twitter page.
Few months back, she hold a grand Godh Bharai ceremony. After Aishwarya, Lara is the second Bollywood actress in a row to deliver a girl child. Congratulatory messages started to pour in.

It's B-town's 'baby girl season'. After Abhi-Ash, Mahesh Bhupati and Lara Dutta were blessed with a baby girl on Friday.
'IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @Dutta- Lara. I Love u.... (sic),' Mahesh tweeted immediately after the delivery, confirming the news.
'Mother and the baby are doing fine. It's a healthy baby,' a source said.
Lara delivered the child within an hour of going into labour, the source added.
The 33-year-old former Miss Universe chose to remain in the public domain throughout her pregnancy period unlike Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan.
Lara was far more forthcoming when it came to flaunting her baby bump. She even attended Parmeshwar Godrej's high-profile welcome party in honour of talk show queen Oprah Winfrey last Monday.

Rivaling her western counterparts such as Beyonce (now the proud mother of a baby girl), Lara was spotted in stylish maternity outfits at several high-profile events in Mumbai, including the premiere of Don 2.
She also hosted a star-studded baby shower not long ago. The sultry actress also kept her fans constantly updated about her pregnancy on Twitter and recently launched her yoga DVD for pregnant women.
Lara and Mahesh got married in February 2011 at a quiet ceremony in a Goa church. Immediately after the marriage, Lara launched her production banner, Bheegi Basanti Productions.
