Nearly two years after it announced its intention to launch a low-cost computing device, the Indian government today demoed Aakash, now the world’s lowest priced computing/internet device at $46 (Rs 2,250). The project of launching this product is running successfully and it would be available to students, about after five to six months. It is been reported that the low cost laptop would be low in price but the final price of the product would be determined depending upon the transportation cost.
