Prince Mahesh’s latest film ‘Dookudu’, the much awaited and much expected film of the season is scheduled for release this weekend

Prince Mahesh’s latest film ‘Dookudu’, the much awaited and much expected film of the season is scheduled for release this weekend, i.e. the 23rd of September. The first copy of the film was sent for censor clearance yesterday (September 19), and according to the sources the film has come out good and is likely to score a big hit.

However, members of the board were not satisfied with the quality of the print as it was not clear and hence did not give the clearance. They asked for another (good) print, and may give the certification tomorrow.

As per the Censor talk, the film is a good comedy entertainer which goes in typical Sreenu Vytla’s style. It is said to have all types of elements like action, comedy and sentiment. Mahesh’s performance and Brahmanandam’s comedy are said to be highlights of the film.

Directed by Sreenu Vytla, the film is produced by Anil Sunkara, Achanta Gopinath and Achanta Ram on the banner of 14reels Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Samantha Ruth Prabhu played the female lead.

The film features music composed by S Thaman, cinematography by Prasad Murella and editing by M. R. Varma.
