The girl who was in news recently for shooting a nude MMS of another girl was attacked by two unknown assailants with knives. The attack took place in Zirakpur.
The victim, named Anchal, is a resident of Baltana, Mohali. She was on way to the market when the attack took place.
Anchal said that the girl who accused her of filming the MMS has been demanding Rs 1 lakh. She also claimed that the attack took place as she refused to pay the money.
Anchal has suffered injuries on her face and neck and was admitted to PGI in serious condition. She, however, is reported to be stable now.
Police have registered a case and are investigating.
