A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a person in Shernagar village of the Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.The girl, who was found unconscious near her house, was rushed to a hospital in serious condition, police said.
The accused, who picked up the girl from her home, was absconding, police said.
A case was registered and a manhunt to nab the accused was launched, they said.
